Nityah Youth Foundation is a Section 8 non profit organisation working towards making education more meaningful and relevant to the lives young people are actually living. We work with children and young people through education, life skills, emotional wellbeing, gender sensitisation, Comprehensive Sexuality Education and democratic values. Our work creates spaces where young people can ask questions, understand themselves and others, develop the skills to navigate everyday life, and grow into individuals who are aware, confident, empathetic and responsible members of society.

Nityah Youth Foundation, in partnership with NYAAS, organized the distribution and inauguration of sanitary vending machines in educational institutions to improve access to safe menstrual hygiene products. The vending machines were inaugurated by students, symbolizing youth participation and ownership in promoting menstrual health and hygiene. This initiative helps ensure easy access to sanitary napkins, encourages healthy menstrual practices, and creates a supportive, stigma-free environment for adolescent girls in schools.
As the implementing partner of NYAAS, we successfully conducted the Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Project to improve awareness, health, and dignity among adolescent girls. Through interactive awareness sessions, participants learned about menstrual health, personal hygiene, myths and misconceptions, safe menstrual practices, and the importance of seeking timely healthcare. The project also encouraged open discussions to reduce stigma and build confidence, creating a supportive environment where girls could make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nityah Youth Foundation distributed grocery kits to needy and vulnerable families affected by the crisis. The initiative provided essential food supplies to daily wage workers, low-income households, and marginalized communities, helping them meet their basic needs during the lockdown. This humanitarian effort offered timely relief and supported families facing financial hardship during the pandemic.
